Attacking A Webserver Using Dos Attack

As you all know we can put a webserver down by using the dos attack. So Here I"ll going to show you the live example of Dos attack on a victim webserver. this attack is much efficient to put a webserver down in a minute to 5 minute. So by using this attack you can put any webserver under Dos 

Warning :: Don't try to attack Big websites Like Facebook,google etc because the firstly they  maintain Load balancing on their servers & secondly they uses heavy or big servers that can easily handles these attacks. so to attack their webservers you need to have some more system in your hand but you can attack lots of websites with this attack i myself attacked many websites including some bigone's not facebook & google..:P

So Without Wasting tym let's begin to work 

Firstly You need to Backtrack 5 r1 or r2 

tools required to attack 

1) lbd.sh (load balacing script to check weather server supports load balancing)

2) slowloris.pl (too attack)

thses both the tools are required to check & attack the webserver

Download location lbd.sh =http://stuffresearch.tor.hu/tools/lbd
Download location slowloris.pl = http://ha.ckers.org/slowloris/slowloris.pl

Now After Downloading both the tools Wat you have to do but download these both the tools in backtrack or transfer them into backtrack.


 Now Open Backtrack then open the terminal window 
 Now open upp the firefox and copy the first code from the above link.
type the following command on terminal 
command : cd Desktop /
                  nano 
                  nano lbd.sh 
now paste the complete code on the terminal you will see something different on the terminal window
and now do "ctrl+o" to save it 
same as for slowloris but the difference is use 
nano 
nano slowloris.pl 
the remaning part will be the same as lyk lbd.sh

Running Backtrack in Vmvare  
NOTE : In this attack you will get permission denied error on vmvare not on Harddrive instalation of backtrack

Here We are just copying the script from the link for Lbd.sh

Here Again We are copying the slowloris.pl script from the link

Now after copying the script 1 by 1 open the bt terminal
and put the following command
cd Desktop /
nano
nano lbd.sh
& paste the copy code for lbd.sh
& use "Ctrl+O" to save it and same for the slowloris.pl
but change in nano
cd Desktop /
nano
nano slowloris.pl
"Ctrl +O"

Now the main part open up a new terminal use command 
cd Desktop /
chmod 755 *
./lbd.sh -dns address
to check weather the server supports load balancing or not

Now Just use the slowloris.pl script to attack the webserver just by typing the following commands
Note : the terminal must be on Desktop doirectory use the following command to attack the webserver
open terminal
cd Desktop /
./slowloris.pl -dns address 
now open the desired dns and the server is under attack you can check within a minute the server stops responding you can try on your localhost
